...I was sad to leave the beautiful Amish Countryside...eventho we were still in Pennsylvannia, it was not the same...our next stop was in Washington Pa...we decided to take a driving tour and try to find all 12 of the covered bridges in Washington Co...we missed the first and then the second, just when we decided the directions were all messed up we happened upon the 3rd on the list...after deciding it wasn't us, it WAS the directions, we persisted and located three more...it wasn't easy and many more miles than we had anticipated...after the fourth one, I knew Bill was done when he said, "I think we're done with covered bridges for today"...he he...the next day we were off to Ohio....
