Practice Run Successful!!!!

...if all else fails read the directions...he he...

blue ox + CRV + Gus = successful hookup...it

was super simple...it took very little time...we

took it on a practice run with no problems...didn't even know there was a "toad" (RV lingo for towed

vehicle) behind us....we are ready to go...

Gus' New Toys

yep...getting packed to head down to the coast for a week of hopefully sunshine and warm weather...from the last trip we decided we needed to get Gus a couple of toys...first came a brand new CRV and next came a Blue Ox towbar...we will be "practicing" this weekend hooking it all up...pictures of the "practice" will be posted later...

First Trip to Texas Hill Country

...it didn't take long to pack up and head out...two weeks later we were on our way.....so much easier with Gus...our little Towlite camper was great, but Gus is here to stay....we took a short drive to Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Lost Maples State Park, and Garner State Park... it was all so beautiful this time of year...

Bringing Gus Home

...November 2008 Gus came home to Central Texas...he was greeted by neighbors and family... a wine and cheese open house was underway...
